Guest guest
Hi all, I have had constant phlegm in my throat for about 12 years.I am always having to clear my throat. I think it may have begun when I was about 8 years old. I had quite a bad cold where my throat, chest and nose were congested. I have seen a doctor in the past and she suggested maybe an allergy. (Even though I am not allergic to anything, nor is anyone in my family) After trying out numerous allergy remedies to no avail, i am stuck for what could be the problem. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Samantha
Guest guest
Processed sugars can cause chronic mucous in the body, which I am told is an allergic reaction to the sugar. Guest guest
I had sent this directly to another poster and thought that it may be of more help posted to the forum.... I had a client that dealt with a similar condition for over 30 years. We gave him a mineral protocol as well as a tea to break up the congestion. His was resulting from a different reason, however, within 6 weeks of drinking the tea he had no more congestion and no more coughing, he could even breathe deeper at 60 than he had as a 20 year old. I also have a special needs son who had RSV as an infant (the tonic was very diluted for him as an infant, the tea he drank all day long) and was constantly congested with phlegm. I made the following Tonic and Tea for him and I have gotten rid of my own severe bronchitis with the same protocol. I hope this helps. You may have a lingering bacteria, which the tonic will help the body with or it may be a weakness left over from the old illness, which the tea will help break up the phlegm and you will cough alot getting it out but it also is terrific for nourishing and strengthening the lungs and bronchial area. If you can eliminate sugar and white flour from your diet, it will also reduce phlegm. Super Tonic I white onion 2 bulbs garlic 2 inches of fresh ginger 3 jalapenos 2 inches fresh Horse radish (if you can't find fresh, you can get it in a jar, just be sure it is 100% horse radish) 1 Quart RAW apple cider vinegar I don't peel anything I just remove the stems and wash it all, I put mine in a vitamix with the vinegar and grind it all up. If you have a smaller blender just do it in batches. I store in quart jars in the cabinet and always keep it on hand. You can take 1 TBS at a time in orange or grapefruit juice you can give it as little as 3-4 times a day or every hour. If you get nauseous then chew a piece of ginger after. Lung Tea 1 part red raspberry 2 parts mullein 1 part hyssop 1 part fenugreek 1 part marshmallow I sweeten with raw honey or stevia and my son would drink about two quarts a day. (we prefer stevia) If you want to make two quarts at a time try using TBS for the parts. My son would drink the tea hot or cold, which ever he wanted at the time. The doctors said he wouldn't live. (I adopted him and he had two machines to help him breathe when I got him at 6 months old) He is now a vibrant 11 year old, still with genetic anamolies but amazingly healthy for what he had as an infant.
