monica,

red clover is used in the essiac formula and for menopausal symptoms and

also for clearing the skin of eruptions, rash etc. Drink the tea and wash the

face or affected area if for the skin condition.drink 3-4 cups per day.

one of the essiac fprmulas was made of these herbs:

INDIAN TEA OR ESSIAC

* 3 oz (90 g) red clover flowers

* 3 oz (90 g) wood sorrel flowers

* 3 oz (90 g) common _burdock root_

(http://www.herbs2000.com/herbs/herbs_burdock.htm)

* 1 oz (30 g) _kelp_

(http://www.herbs2000.com/herbs/herbs_bladderwrack.htm)

* 1 oz (30 g) _slippery elm_

(http://www.herbs2000.com/herbs/herbs_slippery_elm.htm) powder

* 1 oz (30 g) Canada thistle head

Combine all the plants.

Boil 1 t (5 ml) of the mixture in 1 cup (250 ml) water for 5 minutes. Drink

3 cups (750 ml) per day for 1 to 3 months. This is the closest recipe to the

original famous North American Indian tea used to fight _cancer_

(http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/cancer.htm) . It is also an excellent

lymphatic and

blood depurative.. from: Herbs 2000

note:

the essiac or ojibwa formulated by the nurse caisse, ( essiac backwards)

also had Turkish Rhubarb. caisse had a clinic in Canada for cancer patients and

took care of mostly patients that were terminal. Her rate of healing was very

high. She only used spring water and fresh herbs.

Hi, I'm sure this was meant for a different Monica but Amazingly I am

having a problem with the symptoms you listed also, esp the skin

problems. I have had MRSA (Staph), shingles, and an undiagnosed skin

eruptions that may have to do with my liver. Saw the doc today. Will

have answers next week. Can you tell me where I can buy this tea or do

I have to get the ingrediants individually and make it myself?

Thanks & Blessings,

Monica (cat70meow)

You can get herbs to make this yourself...Mountain Rose Herbs sells it by the

pound and it's organic herbs. It is www.mountainroseherbs.com ..as a matter of

fact I just ordered some myself. I get all my herbs from that site-it's not

very expensive for organic herbs and you get discounts the more you order.I'm

sure there are other places you can get it too but this one is just my personal

preference.
