Nose stuffiness

I've heard of professional singers using a mild salt water solution to

flush out their sinus cavities. I've been meaning to look it up but

haven't had a chance yet.

Another thing you can do is get a bowl of steaming water a towel and a

few drops of Eucalyptus oil. Put the oil in the steaming water put

your head over the bowl. Cover you & the bowl with the towel like a

tent and breath deep.

They make special containers (kind of look like Aladins genie lamp)

for this type of thing too.

I use that salt water trick. Its really helpful when my allergies are really

bad. I wouldn't suggest it for just run of the mill stuffiness.

Well, as a singer, before auditions and such some of my colleagues will take a

lemon juice/ tabasco sauce shot and sometimes add honey to it too.

If you're still interested, I used to have lots of problems with sinus

congestion. Then an herbalist recommended Tei Fu oil from Nature's

Sunshine. This great-smelling blend of oils was the only thing that

worked for me. He told me to put about three drops in my palm and rub

my hands together to warm it. Then put it up to my nose and inhale as

many times as I could. When I first used it, I would inhale until I

could smell it when I exhaled. This was what I needed to get through

the respiratory mucus. I don't even have to use it very often any more,

because somehow it strengthened my immune system to the point where it

didn't get irritated at all the molds and pollens anymore. Good luck,

I posted this yesterday but for some reason it never went thru.

The genie looking thing is called a Neti Pot.

Just do a search for it and you'll find instructions.
