Guest guest
You may want to give " Oil Pulling " a try.. www.oilpulling.com humbly dev persistant coughing My Husband went to the doctor about a month ago for coughing up blood and was diagnosed as having bronchities and was given an antibotic. He hasn't shown any improvement since and doesn't want to take anymore antibotics and prefers something natural. The cough is productive, bringing up phelem with spots of blood mixed in it. At times he is coughing very hard and more blood is brought up. He has tried some over the counter cough expectorants as well as suppressants and neither has done much. Would appreciate any ideas or suggestions for any natural rememdy that may help. Guest guest
with the small dosages usually given with antibiotics that may not be enough if his bronchitis is bacterial based...was there a culture of his sputum done? Otherwise prophylactic therapy is just a short in the dark . If it is not bacterial you may want to try the tennis ball trick on his back between his shoulder....or if you have a device..an electromagnetic item at that same location. There are meridians for the lung located there and treatment of them can produce a reduction and cessation of coughing. I'd still get a culture though to be safe. medusa > My Husband went to the doctor about a month ago for coughing up > blood and was diagnosed as having bronchities and was given an > antibotic. Guest guest
What to do is: Change his diet to a Diet of Fresh Green Salalds with Tomatoes/Cukes. Lots of Orange Juice on a daily basis. Get a blender and begin to make hime Orange Juice and Banana blenders on a daily basis. Use ONLY Whole Grain Breads and Pastas. NO TABLE SUGAR AT ALL. The Lungs are congested due to the whole system is congested. Relaxation techniques will help. Different Herbal Teas in day. Do the Oatmeal cleanse for 7 days also(Oatmeal cooked;Apples;walnuts). , " Dev " <devsaroop wrote: > > You may want to give " Oil Pulling " a try.. www.oilpulling.com > > humbly > dev > > > > persistant coughing > > > > My Husband went to the doctor about a month ago for coughing up > blood and was diagnosed as having bronchities and was given an > antibotic. Guest guest
I would get a second opinion. Coughing up blood is often very serious. I wouldn't take a chance. Get it checked out by another doctor. Guest guest
--- Hi Linda, Ive read that onion once daily can be use as expectorant. George Washintonlauded onions as a cure for the common cold. Washington said he ate a roasted onion before he went to bed if he had a cold. . The pungent qaulities of the onion breaks up the mucous in the lungs and help move it to the throat where it can be coughed up. Onion can be beneficial in chronic bronchitis, which is what Ive had for years. Also I reccomend take ing 2 or 3 capsules of cayenne pepper 2 or 3 x a day, along with ginger capsules, u can buy them at Walmart. I know its hot and u wont feel the burn and it will stop the bleeding believe or not. Good Luck. Guest guest
I think I have mentioned this before, but my granny used to cut up onion and mix it with brown sugar and give us the juice to stop our coughing. I am now 70. I do not go to doctors, nor do I take drugs, either prescription or illegal. Margi blueindian50 wrote: > --- Hi Linda, Ive read that onion once daily can be use as > expectorant. Guest guest
I think I would get a second Doctors opinion on this coughing. It could be valley fever, tuberculosis or even worse. There are of course many alternative treatments but I do think the diagnosis was wrong or the antibiotics would have cleared it up to a greater degree than what you describe.
