Those of you who have read some of the basic Bob Flaws books may recognize

some of these massage exercises or variations of them.

In Curing PMS Naturally with , Flaws recommends patting " the

top of the head with the hollow of the palm 30-50 times. The point in the

middle of the top of the head is called Bai Hui (Meeting of Hundreds,

Governing Vessel 20). Stimulation of this point calms the spirit and

downbears upwardly counter-flowing and exuberant liver yang. " (p. 122)

  • 5 years later...

I left it on the floor for a while for my cat to play with, and later I

made some tea and walked back into the living room next to the ball.

Something possessed me to step on it and roll it around under my bare

foot. It felt just like a foot massage! I kept doing it for a long time

and then did my other foot. It was really nice. Its the little things,

you know?

We learnt about this at college, it works on your Illiotibial band -

muscle that runs down your leg. If you cannot touch your toes, do the

above exercise for a few minutes and you should be able to touch your

toes.
