Guest guest
I have just blown it and eating 1,000 calories of candy Robin Egg malted milk balls in one evening. I'm concerned about my blood sugar and wondered if eating 1/2 tsp. of cinnomin would be protective of my system. I've already had the spice, but does anyone know the proper dosage? I know you can buy this in capsules, but I don't know what mgs. are correct, or how much ground cinnomin it takes to get the benefit. If anyone else has a suggestion as to what to do to absorb or get rid of the sugar I've ingested please let me know asap. How about oatmeal?? I think I could be very borderline diabetic.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
Instead of cinnamon, how about taking chromium which aids sugar metabolism? Chromium is very helpful for both diabetics and hypoglycemics. I take 200 mcg of chromium picolinate with my meals and sometimes double it after eating too many carbs. I notice it stablizes my blood glucose levels. Garlic, onions, and Vitamin C also have sugar-lowering affects. Fiber will also absorb some of the sugar you took. I also suggest drinking lots of water to flush the excess sugar out. Hope this helps, katiejohn , HeiressArts wrote: > > I have just blown it and eating 1,000 calories of candy Robin Egg malted > milk balls in one evening. Guest guest
Wow, I take chromium but take it as directed on the bottle, one in the morning with breakfast. Should I be taking a smaller dose more often like that? katiejohn13 <katiejohn13 escribió: Instead of cinnamon, how about taking chromium which aids sugar metabolism? Guest guest
*What you want to do is address the issue of your Blood Sugar by improving your diet. Here is the whole key to a healthy eating: " Healthy Eating begins in the Supermarket. What are you doing with Malted Milk Balls in your house in the first place? If someone gives you candy; give it to the first homeless person you see. Do not buy Candy in the Supermarket. Make a list out before you go shopping and stick to list no matter what. Eat a snack before. Do not buy any junk food at all whatsoever when in the store. Period. oh and the dosage for Cinnamon is about 2-3 teaspoons a day(or less).- -- In , HeiressArts wrote: > > I have just blown it and eating 1,000 calories of candy Robin Egg malted > milk balls in one evening. Guest guest
You can take 1/2 teaspoon cinnamin a day to help control your blood sugar. Take 1/4 tsp twice a day. You don't want to take too much. You can also take the chromium picolinate with your meals or when you eat too much sugar. Diabetics can take up to 800 mcg a day (4 caps). Other supplements can help control blood sugar, so educate yourself about them. Some even help block excess carbs for when you overdo it. Gymnema Sylvestre is supposed to block carbs if you take if about 30 minutes before you eat a high carb meal.
