Guest guest
hey everyone! i'm new here and have been interested in alternative medicine for quite sometime now. Actually, it all started with my dog to be quite honest. unfortunately when we first received our dog she was very malnourished and had a very weak immune system leading to various health problems. The medication she was on did not help one bit and only made the problem worst. i changed her to a more natural diet and with much research gave her herbal remedies and supplements which improved her health 110%. Ever since i have been interested in alternative medicine and would like to absorb as much information as possible. Now to the questions... i am fairly new to this whole new world so please forgive my lack of proper terminology but if i wanted to study alternative medicine (herbology?) do i need to have a license? which schools offer this major? i live in a very small city in texas and as of right now won't be able to move...can i take a corresponding course online? I just recently graduated from college with a degree in nutrition. my fiance and i have just moved and i won't be able to extend my education for another year or so (until i decide what i really want to do) so before then i would like to know more about herbology. what are some really good books that i can read to learn more about it? thanks and hope to hear from everyone!
