Guest guest
I know there are lots of remedies...but I would press some garlic into oil of oregano and use that as a paste under a bandaid. Be sure the oil of oregano is mixed with olive oil. Diana of Dewberry Hill I saw a discussion on plantars warts on a list a couple of months ago, have been through many archives, and can't find it now! Hadn't had a plantars wart in probably 18 years so didn't pay a lot of attention, then guess what pops up under one of my toes?!? Anyway, it seemed like people said they had successfully used castor oil - do any of you recall the discussion (or which list it might've been on), or have any thoughts? Guest guest
Hi there! Does anyone know of a good effective remedy for removing plantars warts from the bottom of your feet? Any info is helpful. Have a great afternoon! D~
Guest guest
One method is to put duct tape over the plantar and wait for it to show up on the tape. this can take awhile. Change the tape every day. After it comes out, apply self heal cream every day to prevent it coming back. don't walk barefoot or you will spread to other people. I understand it is caused by a virus. Keep the shower or tub disinfected to prevent re-infecting or spreading it to other people. peace, thyme

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Guest guest
take a piece of banana peel the size of the wart. Cover the wart with the banana peel and leave on wart for a couple days, use medical tape to hold it in place. Replace as necessary. For some reason the peel dissolves the wart. Guest guest
My daughter has one right now that we are treating. What exactly does the plantar wart look like? Is it long and thin and what does it do..burrow into the skin deeper? We're trying these patches from drug store and it's just eating away the skin around it...will it eventually disappear?
