Guest guest
I have never noticed a problem in interactions with prescription medicines, but I have had nosebleeds if taking too much MSM or fish oil. A good place to look up interactions of herbs, supplement and drugs is: http://www.pdrhealth.com/drug_info/ I found that amitryptilline which is prescribed for migraine prevention interferes with the body's use of riboflavin, vitamin B2, which is also known to prevent migraines and is vital to life! Guest guest
Hello Sue: Thanks for the link on drug/nutrient interactions. So you say the prescription drug prescirbed for migrane interfere's with the body's use of Riboflavin Vitamin B2? Do you know if the interactions reduces the system's ability to utilize B2; in other words; you say the 'script reduces B2? The 'script is not a " Ribopfalvin Vit. B2 reuptake inhibitor is it? I wonder why the drug reduces Riboflavin; never heard of such a thing. (I'll look it up on the web-link). *Riboflavin reduces headaches. The kick I get out of *Riboflavin is how inexpensive it is to buy. I like Twin Lab Brand pure Crystalline Vitamins. Thanks for the info. , " masuruha2 " <masuruha2 wrote: > > I have never noticed a problem in interactions with prescription > medicines, but I have had nosebleeds if taking too much MSM or fish > oil. Guest guest
ps Nose-bleeds can also indicate a Deficency of Vitamin C Ascorbic; I could see how Fish Oil could produce nose-bleeds by " thinning blood; but do not see how MSM could cause; but I certainly believe you. thnx. , " masuruha2 " <masuruha2 wrote: > > I have never noticed a problem in interactions with prescription > medicines, but I have had nosebleeds if taking too much MSM or fish > oil.
