Guest guest
Hi. I was put omn Loritab which is oxycodone when my colon ruptured. I had to gradually decrease my usage . There is also a blood preasure patch you can get from a doctor called Clodapen(I think that is how it is spelled) This is given to help block out some of the withdraw symptoms. I never tried it. My problem was oxycodone however if you were giver Oxycotin that is alot stronger and a time released pain med. If you try it let me know how it works. The withdraw syptoms are horrible. I rememeber not being able to sleep feling like I had bugs crawling under my skin. I was so irritable that all I could do is pace the floor, Hot Baths help to. It is hell however it does go away. Ask God for strength he will help. It is good to talk to someone that understands because then you feel that you are not alone. Just remember that there is alot of people out ther in every walk of life that goes through it at least once in there life time. God brought you to it he will get you through it. Everything happens for a reason. If you raelly want to fight this you can. Good Luck. and remember one day a time,
Guest guest
The medicine given you to was most likely clonadin...a medicine usually given to heart patients that slows down the sympathetic system so that one does not allegedly feel the gastro + withdrawal effects so much. It is not usually sufficient on its own. Both the Immediate release and time release forms of oxy are really the same only the duration differs. medusa - " mycodismodis " <mycodismodis Sunday, February 04, 2007 1:54 PM re. oxycodone addiction > Hi. Guest guest
Clondin was given to my ex by the VA Hospital to control his blood pressure while going through withdrawls when they admitted him. He didn't take it when he did the withdrawl at home. --- medusa569 <medusa569 wrote: > The medicine given you to was most likely > clonadin...a medicine usually > given to heart patients that slows down the > sympathetic system so that one > does not allegedly feel the gastro + withdrawal > effects so much.
