Guest guest
This describes a method or a technique that I developed which apparently reduces sleepiness and drowsiness without the use of caffeine or medication. The technique can be done at will, but I prefer doing it whenever I start feeling slightly sleepy. It involves shutting my eyelids firmly for 1 to 5 seconds, depending on how sleepy or drowsy I am. For the upper eyelids, it is important to greatly employ the part of the eyelid muscles just beneath the eyebrows to press the upper eyelids against the lower eyelids, otherwise the technique will not be very yielding. The eyebrows themselves don't actually move (the muscles responsible for moving the eyebrows are not used), and the technique would be pretty tedious if they did. With little practice, this technique became a part of my subconscious mind, pretty much like eating, drinking, or breathing. The advantages I felt using this technique are incredible, for it solved the worrying problem of sleepiness and drowsiness during the day. It seems that this technique discharges a build-up of stress, mostly from the part of the eyelids just beneath the eyebrows, and the results may greatly boost satisfaction and performance in life.
