Guest guest
My husband has been drinking PROPEL drinks for awhile. He is a truckdriver and lots a place just don't have good drinking water to put in his container. Well He had left some in the truck over the weekend and it was cold out and it froze. During the day he defrosted it slowly and shook it up and had a small swig. It didn't taste right and he washed it out with warm caffee. Needless to say he stomach has been upset since. He can keep food down. But my questions is this Has anyone who has had this drink EVER tasted anything funny ? I am sure these drinks have been frozen and refrozen many times before they get to our store shelfs here in the Northeast. ______________________________\ ____ Any questions? Guest guest
Propel ====== " In January 2002, PepsiCo's Gatorade launched Propel Fitness Water, the company's first entry into the new " fitness water " category. " " Propel is a lightly flavored, noncarbonated water with 10 calories per 8-ounce serving. Available in four natural flavors--black cherry, lemon, orange and berry—it is designed to provide active consumers and fitness enthusiasts with a better hydration alternative to plain water, says the company. All flavors, sweetened with sucralose artificial sweetener, contain B vitamins including B3 (niacin), B5 (panthothenic acid) and B6, as well as antioxidant vitamins C and E. " 'sweetened with sucralose artificial sweetener' Enough said. And from the wonderful people that brought you Gatorade. You would trust these people with your health? Get a water bottle with a filter that can convert tap water to good drinking water. Brita or Nikken and there are others. Guest guest
Hi, my father left a Gatorade in his Bronco, and would drink out of it for more than one day. He got very sick. My mother tried to tell him, but he wouldn't listen...until he got ill. I think the germs from his mouth multiplied in the bottle. It was hot, also. We live in Florida. If the Propel was unopened, frozen and thawed, I think it would have been ok to drink. It probably just had a culture growing in it! Was it cloudy? I'm sorry your husband is sick...I will pray for him. You can buy Propel in smaller bottles. If he bought them at a discount store, it would save money, and his health. Waste not, want not doesn't usually work with food. In the meantime: Foods good to quell nausea: salty potatoes (maybe bake slices under broiler) (potassium, B vitamins) , soda crackers, cracker jacks (fiber, glucose? not sure how it works), ginger ale (carbonation) and gingersnaps (or ginger tea, if it appeals). Foods that help stop diarrhea: Bread, bananas, rice, apples, tea, toast Also, when he feels better, hot spicy peppers kill many an intestinal bug in south of the border climates. Go out for a dish with hot salsa in it. Have him eat some yogurt to restore the good bacteria later, too. God bless you, Athena
Guest guest
I recommend the Elete water to clients when they want to have the electrolytes in their water or their test scores show they need minerals. Water purification removes essential minerals along with all the garbage. Elete water is a natural electrolyte drop you add back to your water to replace lost minerals. It's inexpensive and can be found in sporting good stores or online at www.eletewater.com. You can have your water and electrolytes without added sugars, colorings or the plethora of other crap they add to these sports drinks. Guest guest
These drinks are not frozen and I have been drinking them since they came out....we lived in Germany when they came out and they were fine and I drank them in the States, no problem. My Mother, 68years young drinks them and my daughter, 22 drinks them. The only one who has weight issues is me....and that is trying to stay away from regular sodas.
