Dissolving a bone chip

Are there any natural ways of dealing with a bone chip? My daughter fell and

hurt her elbow.

She says it feels like there is a piece of bone missing from the end. Other than

that, she's

doing okay. She can use it. It just was a bit swollen, and it hurt when she

touched right on

the bone.

I'm figuring the only real problem is if there is a chip floating around. I've

read about the

enzymes in pineapple dissolving bone chips, but I was wondering if this group

had any other

ideas.

Thanks!

Cindy

You might want to make sure she didn't chip her growth plate in her arm.

Has it been x-rayed?

She's an adult. And a licensed clinical massage therapist so she has a good idea

of what she

is feeling there. She believes it is all fine, except for feeling that the bone

isn't smooth at the

tip of her elbow.

She didn't want to go the traditional medical route since she seems to be just

fine. My

concern is wondering about a bone chip floating around. From what I've read,

that's the only

thing that might cause a problem down the road.

From my experience...I chipped the bone 10 years ago.

I used Cal-Mag complex to coat the bone and nerve and

to stimulate regrowth. I don't have a problem with it

now. The dr. told me there wasn't anything they could

do with that chip and to let it be. It was painful

enough I couldn't type or use my arm for much. The cal

mag complex is known for coating the nerves and bone

so the pain in reduced and healing is increased. After

I started that it got better. I went about 6 months

with it hurting before I found out about the Cal-Mag

I've read " Ingesting large amounts of Vitamin C daily for a few

months can help dissolve Foot Bone Spurs...

however don't know if this applies to Bone Chips.

I know Vitamin C can strengthen weak Enamel on the teeth. Anne.--- In

Thanks! That seems like a safe enough thing to try. Do you mean any

calcium-magnesium

combo? I'm glad to hear you're doing fine this much later. She can use her arm

so I would

think it isn't even as bad as what you experienced. So, hopefully, this will

help finish the

healing.

That's interesting. I'll tell her that as well. She already takes vitamin C

regularly to stay

healthy so she could easily up the dosage for a while. That sure can't hurt

anything.

Yes; Nutritonal Therapies are interesting; the whole world of

Nutrional therapies is just fascinating.

To follow the advice of the replies I would say:

1. Fish-Oil caps for the Vitamin D to help absorb the Calcium.

2. The Calcium/Magneisum formula to get the Magneisum to the bones.

3. The Vitamin C to help dissolve any " bone chips in system.

Even if she is already on Vit. C; makes sure she continues the Vit.C.

Yes Calcium - Magnesium Complex....has:

80 IU Vitamin D

318gmg Calcium ( as calcium amino acid chelate )

176 mg magnesium ( as magnesium amino acid chelate)

100 mcg Manganese ( as manganse amino acid chelate)

60 mcg Boron ( as boron amino acid chelate)

The Biochemist that personally recommended this to me

used it when he fell at work, was injured and drove

himself to the hospital where as the orderlies were

removing him from his truck, dropped him spine first

on the curb and broke his back. He was told he would

be paralyzed (due to an inoperable bone chip in the

spine) and never walk again. He had his wife bring

this to him at the hospital where he took several

doses a day and within 6 weeks was walking again.

This is also an excellent supplement for pain

management, menopause, osteoperosis and other bone

issues.

Could you let me know the specific brand name or the company that

makes this? In searching for it, I find a lot of products listed as calcium

magnesium complex. None of them, though, list the same ingredients

as what you've provided below. Since you've had good success with this

as well as the biochemist you mention (that's an amazing story!), I'd like

to tell my daughter specifically what to get and not just any calcium

magnesium product.

Thanks yet again,

Cindy

Cal-Mag Complex is made by Unicity. It has been

biochemically made to contain all necessary

ingredients for best absorption.

Thanks Jenny! I never heard of that company so I'm glad you mentioned it.
