Greek Lemon Oregano Chicken, Lemon Syrup, Lemonade, Lemon Jelly, Lemon

Tarts, Lemon Cheesecake ..... hairspray and hair lightener, elbow bleach ;)

You CAN make soap with real lemons .. just be warned .. the strong citric

acid can neutralize some of the lye and leave you with a batch of slime that

suds, not really soap (ask me how I know this ;) .. so you have to take that

into account when making it.....

I can think of so many things to do with lemon juice and zest. Personally ..

I'd zest them .. and freeze or dry that .. then I'd juice them .. and save

that ... and an FYI .. lemons down the garbage disposal clean and refresh

it!

have a myer lemon tree that is going

YAY!!!! :) My peach and apricot trees did NOTHING fruitful this year! But

that

is what happens in Colorado when you get 70 degree weather in February, the

fruit trees blossom, and then it proceeds to snow every so often until the

end

of MAY!

I'm not sure about that but lemons are the best in overall health... both in

detoxing and everyday life.

Whoever coined that saying is bang-on as far as lemons are concerned.

Another way of saying it is that lemons create more alkaline blood

and that is GOOD!

So, go ahead, and enjoy your bounty.

One good way is to drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice

first thing in the morning. It gets your metabolism going,

and purifies the blood.

From the frozen North, I salute your tree with envy!
