Rub her down chest and back with Vicks Vapor Rub. Wachters also has a very

good rub of the same type. Rub till you feel heat under your hands paying

special attention to the lungs and bronchial areas. Put some on her neck and

behind the ears. Put some up her nose with a Q-tip and some on her lips that

she

can lick off.

*******I would also line the ears....Bacteria's enter your body through your

ears too. Personally,

I wouldn't use anything else but Vicks Vapor Rub...been used for years as it

never fails...I would

suggest that after you rub the chest and back vigorously like Thyme

suggested that you put

a white cotton T-shirt on her and keep it on her......

Have her breathe some steam, being careful that she does not get

too close, steam can burn. Have her inhale with her mouth and nose

alternately.

*************putting some eucalyptus drops and vicks in a glass pan to make

the steam also

helps prevent more infection and settles down the lung....

Robitussin also works very well.

***********OHHHHHHHHhh Robitussin also contains aspartame and other

artificial sweeteners. Most of the over the counter children's products are

toxic

and NOT good for kids....Most have aspartame in them....try making a sippy of

organic fresh lemon juice with a tablespoon of raw organic UNHEATED honey and

have her sip it. I have a couple of homemade cough teas if you feel you need

them....they are made with fresh herbs and safe.....let me know...
