This may be the most powerful wound healer on the planet, used internally or topically. Before we go any further, let me be upfront and let you know that this is my business. If that is against your principles you can stop reading here. Sangre de Drago is the sap of a tree that is common in the Amazon, Croton lecheri. When you cut into the bark the tree drips a rich red sap, like blood, hence the name. It is Spanish for " Blood of the Dragon " . One of the traditional uses is to treat stomach ulcers or discomfort anywhere in the intestinal tract. People use the fresh sap to treat machete wounds, as they hack their way through the jungle. Wounds usually heal quickly and without infection or scarring. I have not had machete wounds, just kitchen knife slices, and I can assure you that my one ounce bottle works like a first aid kit, quite amazing. Side effects, you wonder? Certainly, and they are all good ones. " Drago " is anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and pain relieving. It is rich in the same anti-oxidants that we find in grapefruit seed extract and in pycnogenol. The anti-oxidants help to prevent heart disease. It won't break the bank either. If I had a bleeding stomach ulcer I would get some in the powerful new liquid capsules (liquid inside the capsules) first, and after a month of one a day I'd follow up with just some drops in a glass of water. To re-build the blood, once the ulcer is in control, take concentrated green whole foods. My favorite is wild bluegreen algae, but that may irritate the stomach till it is healed, so get something milder. Nettle tea is a nice blood builder too. Hope you get better soon! Guest guest
I not sure about herbal remedies for that however my mother in law had issues where her ulcer actually ruptured and she lost alot of blood. I know that she had to take vitimin c with her iron. Vitimin c helps absorb the iron. Do not take anything with calcium a few hours after the vitmin c because calcuin stops the absorption of the iron. there are foods that contain iron as well. so check that out to. I know if you take to much iron at once you can over dose on it and it can be lethal. So over time you have to build up the blood. There is a good iron pill called SLOW Fe I picked up at wal mart that is easy on the stomach and releases it slow into your system. It worked well for me. Iron pills can cause constipation and upset stomach but these pills were really good. Good Luck Ieneke <ienvan wrote: --- In , " mjwilkins070105 " <mjwilkins070105 wrote: I have recently been diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer, and Iron Deficiency Anemia, my red blood cell count is very very low. Guest guest
Leafy green and black vegetables, and legumes are high in iron. Taking Vit C will help with absorption of iron and calcium shouldn't be taken at the same time as it does inhibit the absorption of iron. If you're going to take an over the counter iron supplement avoid Geritol. Slow FE is good as long as it is not in tablet form. I was once told you could take the infant iron drops in lieu of adult supplements if you don't tolerate those well. It's easier on the stomache. Guest guest
Hemo iron foods are rich in iron and contain iron in a form that is easily absorbed by the body. Red meat also has a special effect on iron absorption. Red meat, when eaten together with the vegetables, can boost the absorption of non-hemo iron by up to 400%. Vitamin C has a similar positive effect on the absorption of iron. Try taking more chicken liver. http://99health.blogspot.com/ , " mjwilkins070105 " <mjwilkins070105 wrote: > > I have recently been diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer, and Iron > Deficiency Anemia, my red blood cell count is very very low.
