Guest guest
Hi my Indian doctor recommended to me to drink warm water first thing in the morning to stimulate the immune system. I have done it for years and it seems to work too. I do not like cold water.Any comments? Ruth ______________________________\ ____ Now that's room service! Guest guest
I attended a lecture by the ONLY non-Chinese Chi Gong master recognized by the Chinese government as being a true master of chi gong. He said that in China, everyone drinks a warm cup of water every morning, first thing, and any time they drink water throughout the day it is drunk warm--they believe this is what keeps them healthy. He said it must be warm, not cold, and nothing in it like tea in the morning. Just water. So your Indian doctor agrees completely with the Chinese! Guest guest
My mother used to drink warm water first thing every morning and she lived to be 91. The only medication she took was a pill each day for her thyroid. Guest guest
I imagine that by warm you mean room-temperature and I suppose this would involve good quality tap water? I am sure that the water composition must have something to do with its effect on our health... , Margi Crook <Margi wrote: > > My mother used to drink warm water first thing every morning and she > lived to > be 91. Guest guest
Yes, the better water you have the better it is for your health. So use good water. But by warm I don't mean room temp. I mean heated. He said they heated a pot just as if they were going to make tea, but didn't put anything in it--just hot water. I say warm, because that's what I drink--hot from the tap, as I don't actually like HOT drinks, like coffee or tea. It was a hard switch for me to do, and I still only do it first thing in the morning rather than all day, because I only like cold drinks. Ice tea, ice water, etc. But for people that like hot coffee or tea, then use hot water, not room temp.
