Guest guest
Hi Does anyone know anything about sage tablets? do they work for when us women start the change of life? I am 36 and yes it is young to start, but following on with the family history, i'm quite old starting! I have heard that *sage tablets are a great herbal way of coping with the hot flushes? if anyone can help, thank you now
Guest guest
Sage is to prevent the sweating caused by hot flashes. I took black cohosh and evening primrose for the heat and sage TEA with peppermint or catnip ( for nerves) or all three. I added chamomile in the afternoon and evening to calm down. I also used Jason's progesterone gel or creme topically ( natural),( Directions in box.) to balance hormones. Dandelion root and leaf combination for kidneys and liver to keep in good health. Take warm Epsom Salts baths in the evening for magnesium which will be absorbed through skin if soaking for at least 20 minutes and it is good to help sleep better. Yogurt with live culture and bananas for potassium. A really good natural vitamin especially for women. Grape seed extract will keep the free radicals eliminated. EFA's, (essential fatty acids) will keep the cells protected. I like borage oil. Hyaluronic acid will keep the body and skin hydrated. there are many things that will keep you in good health at this time in life. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is also beneficial as is DHEA. Keep caffeine to a mininum. Stop all carbonated drinks because they will leach calcium from the bones. Get into a regular exercise program, walking, hiking, gardening, yoga etc. Gentle exercise is better. If you get depressed, take SAM-e. Good Luck to you, not having to have any more periods is a blessing, just take care of your health and you will be fine. STAY AWAY FROM ESTROGEN SHOTS, YOU WILL JUST GET BLOATED AND THEY DON'T HELP. Peace, Thyme
Guest guest
I can't share anything about sage tablets, but do know from personal experience as a massage therapist and bodyworker who dabbles in aromatherapy that CLARY SAGE OIL is one of the best balancers of female hormones as a topioal application. It is also good for headaches, particularly if they are those which occur around that time of the month. But all sage, whether desert, white or California, Moxa or Mugwort, have well earned reputations for being a gentle relaxant and soporific if burned. It does help cleanse the system of toxins, and taken in food will help heal a sluggish immune system. This is all from my personal experience, though. So take what resonates with you, and bless the rest. I don't know anything about sage tablets, though. Maybe one of the homeopaths on the list can speak up about those, their use, and their dosage. I hope I was able to help a little...
