Guest guest Posted January 19, 2007 Report Share Posted January 19, 2007 Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is normal to feel pain or a headache come on from excersising?I have exercise induced asthma so I thought maybe it's possible for excercising to aggrivate the sinuses from breathing heavy thru the nose. I still have severe sinus pain a day after excersizing. Is there something natural I can take or do for the pain and avoid a sinus infection if I don't already have one? Also the prescription I've been given for the Asthma doesn't help at all. What seems odd when stretching on the floor I noticed, is when I try to reach for my toes I feel something pulling in my head starting from the back of my neck up and over reaching the center of my forhead like an elastic band is pulling. Then when I am doing step aerobics it seems the higher I go on the step or kick my legs or move my arms above waist and shoulder height the harder it is for me to catch my breath so I don't use any risers or do jumping jacks with my arms above shoulder height. Sometimes I get a headache when jumping but it usually goes away when I stop. I've tried to avoid cardio classes and do more stretching, weights and the epilator but it seems odd to get a headache from stretching too. I'd like to be able to do the cardio so I can lose a little more weight but I can't catch my breath. I've been going to the gym about 3 times a week for about a year now, I just don't understand it. At first I thought it was because I needed to get back into shape and it would get better but now I'm not so sure. Does changing altitude have anything to do with it? Sinus & headache pains also rise due to wrong breathing patterns. PLEASE search google for Breathing Asthma " Breathing exercises " etc. & take it from there.
