" Drain cleaner: To help prevent grease build up in your drains and to

keep your drains smelling fresh, pour 1/4 cup baking soda down the

drain. Add 1/2 cup of vinegar. Cover the drain tightly for a few

minutes, then flush with cold water.

Window cleaner: 1 pint of water, 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol, 1 tablespoon

ammonia. Pour into empty spray bottle. This formula will clean windows

effectively without streaking. "

" Wall cleaner: 1/2 cup baking soda or borax, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1

cup ammonia, i gallon warm water. Combine ingredients in a bucket. Wash

walls from the bottom up, since dirty water dripping down the wall can

leave streaks that are nearly impossible to remove. "

You can also use either straight or dilute vinegar to do glass. Works

especially well if you use newspaper - yes ordinary black and white

newspaper - to wipe it off with.
