Cookware inquiry enamel

Enamel is paint. It contains cadmium and other toxins. Make sure

you don't use it on high temperature and if you burn it throw it

out. Stainless steel is about the safest metal you can get. I had

a friend when I lived overseas who was allergic to almost

everything. She literally couldn't eat the same food more than once

every three days and brought her stainless steel pots along if she

was travelling. Any other cookware would send her to the hospital.

I got rid of all my enamel after hearing her story.
