Do not rinse with water afterwards, and no worry if you swallow a small bit of the H2O2. This procedure slowly removes plaque, clears up gum infections, and cleans bacteria from the mouth. Even better to brush teeth with hydrogen peroxide; 2x/day. Don't be surprised, if after two weeks, you notice a slight improvement in overall health. ===================== In a message dated 4/17/2005 5:44:03 PM Eastern Standard Time, treblclef2 writes: No rinse that I'm aware of is going to stop internal reasons why people grind their teeth at night. ===================== Hello again, Thank you all for your suggestions, I am going to purchase a mouth guard tomorrow. I asked about a rinse becasue of the inflamation that I have today. The grinding problem has been on and off for years but I never had swelling or inflamation that lasted longer then a few hours after waking, it has been almost 24 hours of pain now.
