Guest guest
First, thanks for all the amazing information you provide on this site. It's a great resource. I recently came across someone saying that when you are zinc deficient, you can end up in a catch-22 because it is harder to absorb zinc when your zinc is low. Has anyone else heard this to be true? I've tried increasing zinc in my diet, taking zinc sulphate and then zinc amino acid chelate to no avail. My zinc isn't coming up at all. I'm going to try another product that has the co-factors of magnesium and B6 and is a powder that you mix with water and it's supposed to be highly absorbable even when other products are not. The product is called Zinc Fix and is found in Australia. (I had taken a B supplement and magnesium while taking the zinc but not at the very same time). I've had blood tests for celiac disease which were negative but I haven't had the biopsy. I don't seem to have signs of celiac or any other malabsorption problem. I'm a vegetarian but I eat some fish and eggs, some cheese and yogurt. Any leads would be appreciated:-)
