Guest guest
I have just read the devestating effects of soy and they match the symptoms I've had since late last year.I managed a fish and chip shop from 1996 to 2004 witch used nothing but cotton seed oil and I consumed food nearly every day, fryed in cotton seed oil for that period. I desperately need advice in reversing the effects if possible. Can anyone please help?

Although I fail to see any connection to soy in your post, I am acutely aware that cottonseed and soybean oil are high on the list of the most harmful refined oils on the face of the earth .. In their inorganic forms they are both currently listed as oils which undergo genetically engineering and those of us who are educated regarding genetic engineering know that they are very dangerous both to our immune system and overall health and well being! These oils are also regarded as " omega 6 " oils. There is a wealth of material regarding omega 6s on our alternative medicine message boards. The ratio of omega 3s to omega 6 fats and oils are extremely important. It is thought that the prevalence of omega 6s in our standard american diet is the primary reason there is so much heart, artery and inflammatory joint disease - to name just a few - in our modern-day society. Omega 6s are considered " inferior " oils and extremely harmful in that they contribute to the inflammatory process in the vital way that they affect the " prostaglandins " (because of this these oils are linked to many so-called " civilization diseases " ) They, along with peanut and canola (also genetically engineered and also omega 6 oils) are usually hydrogenated and are some of the most prevalent in refined processed foods. Having have made a decision to eliminate these " refined " oils from your diet one of the first changes would be to incorporate more of the essential fatty acids in the form of omega 3s into your diet. Omega 3s are most prevalent in raw nuts, seeds, many organic fruit and nut oils (olive, sesame, macademia nut oils, etc) and cold water fish such as alaskan salmon and sardines (water-packed, of course, and eliminating any soybean oil in the sardines which is just another harmful source of omega 6s offsetting any benefits derived from the sardines) You can also derive some omega 3s from organic fruits and vegetables, although dairy and meat products are devoid of these beneficial nutrients. May I ask what types of symptoms you are experiencing? Selenium and vitamin E, used synergistically are good for detox but then again this depends entirely on the symptoms. Zinc is also beneficial although it should never be used in excessive amounts as Zinc competes with certain other trace minerals. Best Regards, Jo Ann
