Guest guest
Look For Health LLC Enters Agreement with ACM Laboratories to License Test Panel for Gastrointestinal Dysfunction in Children with ADD, ADHD and Autism Monday March 14, 8:46 am ET YONKERS, N.Y., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Look For Health LLC has entered into an agreement with ACM Laboratories of Rochester, N.Y., a subsidiary of Unity Health Systems, Ltd., to license Look For Health's proprietary test panel for gastrointestinal dysfunction in children with ADD, ADHD and autism. Under this agreement, Look For Health LLC provides ACM exclusive rights to market and perform the test panel looking for gastrointestinal dysfunction in children with these and other conditions. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Look For Health's proprietary and patented work has demonstrated that children with these conditions have gastrointestinal dysfunction. Questions regarding the gastrointestinal health of children with autism, ADD and ADHD and other conditions have been placed into question over the last few years. This test panel, which examines the child's ability to digest fat and protein, will allow the practitioner a definitive window into the child's GI health. Undigested protein and fat can potentially become allergens and cause substantial problems for the child. The test panel further detects the antigenic presence of pathological bacteria and viruses which can cause illness in the child. " This is a historic agreement, " states Dr. Joan Fallon, CEO of Look For Health LLC. " For the first time a full test panel of new technology can be applied to examine children with these conditions. These tests will now be performed by an outstanding U.S. laboratory with tremendous track record of quality and innovation. " Further questions concerning this technology can be found at http://www.lookforhealth.com. The test can be ordered through the Internet by going to http://www.lookforhealth.com and clicking through to ACM Labs or by calling ACM directly at (877) 863-5597. For further information, call Dr. Joan Fallon at (914) 779-9300.
