Guest guest
http://www.redflagsweekly.com/articles/2005_mar11.html SPECIAL FEATURE The table posted below represents a valuable and careful review of diseases and mortality over the years. As Mr. Hollenbeck clearly demonstrates, Autism has become a pandemic. Please note his reference to the just released MMR-Autism study from Japan. For more on that study see: - Commentary By Andrew J Wakefield FRCS FRCPath and Carol M Stott PhD http://www.redflagsweekly.com/articles/2005_mar06_2.html - MMR – Autism Epidemiological Studies: Just a distraction by Red Flags Columnist, F. Calculated via 36,000 / 282 million US population. 7. Honda H, Shimizu Y and Rutter M. No effect of MMR withdrawal on the incidence of autism: a total population study. Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry 2005. Taken from Table 2 for the `All ASD' column for birth year cohort 1994. 1613 per 100,000 equals 1 out of 62 children. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/links/doi/10.1111/j.1469-7610.2005.01425.x/abs/ It is important to note that the entire conclusions of the Honda et al. study are based on the premise that the autism prevalence identified in the study is accurate. Therefore, if there is concern over the magnitude of 1613 / 100,000 (1 out of 62) than the conclusions of this study must be called into question.
