Dear Friends,

 

Here is the latest request for action from the U.S. group most intimately

working on handling CODEX.

Here is a segment of the document codex_25.htm, which describes the

overall complex, suppressive strategy that is intended to make supplements hard

if not impossible to get in the U.S., as they are currently in some areas

of Europe. It isoften not enough to read one document, as it will look totally

harmless.

However, when combined with already-existing law, the effect can be

horrific! The CODEX, combined with the power of the World Trade

Organization (WTO) to sanction countries that don't comply (currently,

U.S. cotton farmers are a target of WTO), and you have a real, credible threat

to supplements in the U.S.

 

The next meeting of CODEX is in Italy in May or June of 2005, where the

regulations for food suppliments adopted in Germany in November 2004

will be voted on for adoption in whole or in part. If they are adopted at that

time, then the ginding out of acceptable potencies for vitamins and herbs will

begin.

 

It is best to start handling now, in my opinion.
