Need an email that was going around asap!

Thanks for the reply. I am not using this stuff. My daughter was told my her

baby doc to get a cough suppressant for her baby and I had read about this

stuff on this site and wanted to warn her.

Are you refering to phenyl-propyl-alamine...or how ever it's spelled???

It will be in the archives. It's in just about every cough syrup....cold

med, everything. Why on earth are you using that stuff??

PPA Recall Alert

 

Claim: Drug products containing PPA (phenylpropanolamine) were pulled

from the market due to FDA concerns over a possible connnection to strokes.

 

Status: True (but outdated).

This happened back in 2000 and products containing it have been changed.
