Guest guest
Anyone have that post about children's cough syrup or pain reliever that has that recalled ingredient? I had to reload AOL and lost all my files. Thanks a bunch. K
Guest guest
Thanks for the reply. I am not using this stuff. My daughter was told my her baby doc to get a cough suppressant for her baby and I had read about this stuff on this site and wanted to warn her. Kendall Are you refering to phenyl-propyl-alamine...or how ever it's spelled??? It will be in the archives. It's in just about every cough syrup....cold med, everything. Why on earth are you using that stuff?? KBvanRW wrote: Anyone have that post about children's cough syrup or pain reliever that has that recalled ingredient? PPA Recall Alert Claim: Drug products containing PPA (phenylpropanolamine) were pulled from the market due to FDA concerns over a possible connnection to strokes. Status: True (but outdated). This happened back in 2000 and products containing it have been changed.
