Guest guest
A bit of good news, for a change... Kind regards Sepp Doctors Turn To Natural Pain Relief http://www.10tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2987399 Roberta Hagen has spent much of her life in pain. She took Vioxx, until it was taken off the market for causing heart problems. Then she switched to Celebrex. But all Cox-2 inhibitors, Vioxx, Celebrex, and Bextra, are controversial, so some doctors are moving away from prescribing them, to a more basic approach. Pain often comes from inflammation, and research shows that some foods can help. Fruits like strawberries, citrus, and melons, as well as nuts, soy, flax seeds, and oil fish like salmon. Doctors at the University of Pittsburgh placed 120 patients on fish oil supplements. Fifty-nine percent reported less joint pain, and sixty-eight percent were able to stop pain prescriptions entirely. Dr. James Maroon of the University of Pittsburgh says, " it's a substance that perfectly natural, healthy, and has other very positive effects on the body, such as preventing heart disease, helping with asthma and arthritis, and other joint problems. " Doctors stress that before you stop taking any prescriptions or start taking any supplements, you should discuss it first with your family doctor. -- The individual is supreme and finds its way through intuition.
