Guest guest
This is the young girl I was asking about Burzyski, for. Sounds like she is doing well!!! Monday, February 14: Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone! I went to the Burzynski Clinic and met all my doctors, who made me feel welcomed! In the early evening I set off to get my catheter put in, and was REALLY nervous. But, to my surprise the procedure only lasted 20 minutes. Tuesday, February 15: Guess what…? I’m gaining weight! I started treatment today and it was as easy as 1-2-3! I was in heaven, in a recliner chair, playing games while getting fluids pumped into me. Wednesday, February 16: Today I had more treatment which once again wasn’t bad or painful at all. We got done early and decided to go shopping in downtown Houston. However, we never made it to the mall… too much traffic! We decided to go back to the hotel. Thursday, February 17: Another day of treatment… not bad! We got out of the clinic early today and decided to go back to the hotel and take a nap and chill! Friday, February 18: We went to treatment today and everything is going well. Uncle Fred recommended a great “all you can eat meat” restaurant (FoGo De Chao). Wow, it was awesome! First, you go to the buffet and get fruit and vegetables and then when you are ready for the meat, you flip over this card and then…. One right after another the servers come with meat… it was so funny! We had to turn over our card because we didn’t have anymore room on our plates for anything else! They said, they are building a restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA. We were all stuffed once we left! Saturday, February 19: Today we had the usual same ol’ treatment. After that we went to the Marquee to play miniature golf underneath the black light (so cool). I got a hole in one, but my dad came in first place! Just by a little… I was in second place… (He kept score!) Sunday, February 20: Treatment again! However, it went by quickly and then we went grocery shopping. Just hung out at the hotel and watched a couple of Adam Sandler movies. Monday, February 21: Happy Birthday Grandma Carol! Today I had another quick treatment and then we went to another grocery store! This store had little stores inside which sold souvenirs, jewelry, clothes, and other stuff. I thought that was different. When we got back to the hotel the staff had hooked our T.V. up with a VCR and left a lot of VHS movies for me to watch. So, we watched the Wizard of Oz and Annie! The employees here at the Residence Inn are so sweet and treat me like a princess! Well, that sums up my week. I miss Moorpark, my friends and family. I look forward to seeing y’all soon!
