Guest guest
My body temp ranges between 55.3 and 57.7. The lower it seems to measure, the less energy I have. I've had a thyroid saliva spit test that had four categories. They showed normal except for a borderline low on the Thyroid stimulating hormone. I've been to naturopaths that I believe are competent but I haven't noticed much change in the last nine months of seeing them. I am now taking Standard Process thytropin because of the borderline low and have been for a couple of weeks as well as SP trace minerals and calcium lactate which I've been taking longer. I'm 58. I exercise and have a good diet. Any ideas? I'm beginning to wonder if this is in my mind. Sheryl
Guest guest
Hi Sheryl, 55 degrees Fahrenheit? no way! Are you sure? I thought I was bad at 95F or 35C. Please confirm your temp. Guest guest
Excuse me, my temp ranges between 95.2 (this morning) and 97.7. I always have more more energy when my temp is on the high side. Sheryl , Rachel <luric2012@c...> wrote: > > Hi Sheryl, > > 55 degrees Fahrenheit? no way! Are you sure? Guest guest
Sheryl, that makes a lot more sense. It ain't in your head. It is really happening. For the past 10 years my body temp was about 95, at the highest, 96. All the thyroid tests were normal, so all doctors eneded up thinking its in my head, or depression. Even the naturopaths I saw ignored that sign. I went to a naturopath with a high fever, of 99, and was told it was a good thing that means i am recovering, even though the blood tests showed a high white count and infection. Low temp and many other symtpoms (ex. always cold, dry skin, hair falling out, difficulty sleeping) are from low thyroid, as you mention. Have you checked for other symptoms as well? Do you feel any different or better on the thytropin? Those other symptoms are also an indicator of low adrenal glands, which often happens when the thyroid is normal. Most docs that i know of don't deal with that at all, unless it is pretty much shut down. There are lots of ways to deal with both of those, medically, naturally or with vitamins/minerals. The thyroid coverts T3 to usable T4 with thyroid hormones, which are made from the adrenal hormones, and all of those are made in the body from vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Thyroid hormones are made from iodine, but also tyrosine, which is made from l-phenylalanine, so sometimes taking any of those is productive. Adrenals can be supported with vitamin C and pantothenic acid. Some researchs say adrenal insufficiency is also a selenium deficiency. So, there is lots to explore and research here to see what works for you. The other question is why did this happen. And 'diseases' come back to the same thing with toxic overload, food intolerances, bowel dysbiosis, candida, and vitamin/mineral deficiencies. None of any of that made enough difference for me, so I recently saw a homeopath. She got the right remedy, and in a week my temp and other symtoms got better. Of course it brang up a lifetime of emotional mess, and huge parts of myself that i suppressed. It makes sense my body metabolism shut down when i shut down parts of myself. Good luck Rachel skmackie wrote: > >Excuse me, my temp ranges between 95.2 (this morning) and 97.7. Guest guest
I'm not having much luck with the Thytropin so far. Would you mind telling me which homeopathic remedy worked for you? There is a recent posting on , Mr Tracys Corner. Apparently someone has had a lot of luck with a product called Rejuvedine. You need the vendor's information to get it. I'm going to try it since what do I have to lose? I just had 15 hydro treatments for the adrenals and digestion and am avoiding potatoes and other things but still have a low temp and energy level. My digestion is better however and I appreciate that. Sheryl , Rachel <luric2012@c...> wrote: > > Sheryl, > > that makes a lot more sense. It ain't in your head. It is really > happening. I don't know enough about this stuff, but wouldn't it's success depend on where in the thryoid production process your body is breaking down? Just becasue you have TSH now, but if your body is lacking specific nutrients to process that or any other step in the process, then it would not make enough of a difference. But, I may be way off on this one. The homeopathic remedy I took is hydrogen. But, this is classic homeopathy so the remedy is specific for me, not the symptoms. I went over my medical history, life, emotional stuff with her, and many other factors. Then, taking everything into consideration, she found the one remedy that matched all variables. Its a specific remedy, that would not have the same effect for anyone else. >There is a recent posting on , Mr Tracys Corner. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply. It gives me the incentive to continue going to the naturopath and hoping he gets the right homeopathic remedy. Would you mind telling me which remedy worked for you? I do have dry skin, thin hair, trouble sleeping, poor focus and memory. If the emotional things come up, so much the better as it will give me a chance to clear them out. There is a recent post on , Mr Tracys Corner, that gives a rave review on an iodine product called Rejuvedine used for thyroid problems. I'm going to try that out as soon as possible. Will let you know the results. Sheryl , Rachel <luric2012@c...> wrote: > > Sheryl, > > that makes a lot more sense. It ain't in your head. It is really > happening. Guest guest
The Standard Process remedy I'm now taking is Thytropin PMG. They had me taking 3 a day and I felt horrible so they cut me down to 1/2 tab every other day. Perhaps I should be more patient with it. I'm going to send the Rejuvedine information, including the posting from the other group in a separate email. It seems you have to go through the guy and I don't think he is selling it on any web site. I'm waiting for him to call me now. Guest guest
Sheryl, I read the stuff of rejevedine. I hope this does what you are looking for. You sound intelligent and know what you are getting into, so just find out as much as you can about this product first. How is it a variation of iodine and how and why does it work better. Personally, this post sounds weird - more like a planted ad, than personal experience. It concerns me that it is advertised as the " magic bullet " , and I've never found anything resembling a magic bullet that actually works, but others may have. And their selling point is increased energy even if the body is functioning well or the thryroid normal - by stimulating the thyroid, not healing or anything, but bumping up its production. I " d like to know a lot more about this stuff before trying it. Rachel skmackie wrote: > >The Standard Process remedy I'm now taking is Thytropin PMG.
