Guest guest
Ok so what is the point here?? Because this man says it's not a " disease " it's non-existant? I do agree that a lot of doctors are appeasing teachers and caregivers with Ritalin (whether the child has ADHD or not). But that is NOT the case with my child because #1..I place almost NO faith in allopathic physicians. #2.. I live with him, I watched how he was and how he struggled through everything from sleeping and eating to school and socialization. I watched how allowing him to have additives, preservatives, and such made him " nuts " . #3.. I developed systemic candidiasis MYSELF and started having the same symptoms as my son had had for 8 years. It does exist.. it CAN be caused by systemic candidiasis. And he WAS healed by naturopathy. Guest guest
That is so similar to my nephew - one thing that we also discovered was allergies to common food dyes and we notices substantial improvement with diet modification. The regimen is no foods with artificial colors, wheat, or processed sugars - Has anyone had success with chelation therapy? While he is progressing, I am thinking that there are toxins in his system such as heavy metals that might be causing the hyper-sensitivity to all stimuli. I'm convinced that it is a side effect of the vaccinations he had at about 18 months - too bad if I can prove it that I will have to fight the drug companies in Federal court now .... no wonder I'm up at 3 am. He has asthma too (seems a lot of ADHD kids do) confirming the high sensitivity. Michelle In a message dated 2/18/2005 2:21:45 P.M. Guest guest
Exactly. This site claims it is not a 'real' disease cuz modern science has not yet found a cause for it. But, and this is the problem, modern science fails to 'get' a lot of real life causes, and anything not found in thier world, is called 'in your head'. They don't get candida, less than fatal food allergies, mercury or other metal poisons, toxicity -even from thier own drugs. So just cuz something does not exist in thier world, does not mean it does not exist in our more-inclusive world and is not physical or does not exist. There is one interesting thing about ADHD that I find mentioned in about one line in books and never expanded on. Brain wave states of those iwth ADHD. When they think, they go into delta state, which is meditation, instead of alpha, concentrated thought. I hope I didn't get alpha and beta mixed up, I frequently do. And drugs like ritalin, are known in all literature to have a little side effect, that of forcing the person's brain waves into alpha. Which helps to explian why kids can't relax or sleep until it wears off. I see that as the focus of the disorder, not an obscure reference. One author, Gabor Mate, explains that ADHD happens in very sensitive children. They are more sensitive to toxins, to foods, environmental and emotional toxins. They are overwhelmed by the emotional atmosphere, and don't feel completely safe and welcome in theirs- its not about blaming the parents, it about the needs of this one particular, probably very fussy child. He sees it as a mild dissociative disorder, which is worsened by dietary and environmental toxins. The whole brain wave thing fits with the dissociative theory and is not explained by the others. And that is why dealing with food sensitivities, candida, sensory overload all help to balance the child and calm the nervous system. Rachel primalmommieto5 wrote: > >Ok so what is the point here??
