Monday is Valentine's day, when we celebrate the questionable pleasures of romance. Tuesday February 15 is Susan B. Anthony's birthday. After all the roses and romance, it is good to remember the woman who did so much for womankind. Gertrude Stein called her the mother of us all. She spent her life working for womens suffrage, saw some small victories, but the amendment she worked so hard for wasn't passed until long after she died. So, remember Susan B.
