chemical reactions that cause illusions in the brain

I came across some information about a person being given several drugs at the

same time (legal MD ordered percpscriptions) some part of the mix caused the

illusion of bugs crawling over the persons body...great distress followed.

Do any of your have the chemical/physiological/neurological back -ground to

figure out what kind of chemical and where in the brain it could turn on this

kind of picture in the mind of the person taking something, to cause this series

of events? I have heard the other non perscription substnces, alcohol, other

drugs (street?) can cause this reaction also. Any ideas? NG
