Guest guest
MIND OF A CHILD Things should start getting dicey in Washingtonwood as the President goes to the Congress to try and strip the security blanket away from our posterity. The plan should be met with fierce opposition from the Liberals that are left to stand up for average Joe American. The new old plan to force the youth of America to give up not only Healthcare and Retirement safety nets but also give up hard won benefits from employers for doing a hard days work. The reason we get holidays, vacation days, sick days, days off to have a baby, days off to see a doctor is because the LIBERALS FOUGHT HARD to get them for you. The employers didn't go to Washington and beg Congress and the Presidents in days past for them. They had to be FORCED to do it by LAWS. But there has always been a trade off for the employer. Hard and Loyal workers. That is what made American Industry what it is. That is what made Americans number one in productivity in the world. By giving employees safeguards against losing their jobs for missing a days work, AND OTHER BENEFITS, America grew at a rate never before seen in history. Still today America has the capability of producing more QUALITY products then ANY nation on earth. Employers in America were once partners with the American worker. But today Big Business is loyal only to itself and the International Bankers. That brings me to these thoughts about how Bush/Rove intend to cram it into REPEALING LAW. First they must talk the youth of America into believing giving their money to the Filthy Rich Bankers is in their best interest, even though history shows the exact opposite is true, viz, Enron and a few others. The best way to do that is to use the tricks of Big Business. Propaganda via the TV and Radio. Of course they will need to have control of the FCC to do that. And pay a few pseudo journalists to help promote the idea that giving up their benefits is for their benefit. So watch for the commercials and info radio programs telling us that investing their money--not the employers but theirs, into the stock market is the best thing to do so you can own a piece of America. The piece will be your grave site because you will never be able to afford healthcare on your own at the rates the Doctors charge for their services. That is where the true cause of the trouble with Healthcare lay. In the GREED of the Doctors. Wewon't mention fraud, that I'm saving for a rainy day. And speaking of saving for a rainy day. Years not too far back when last we tried to reform Social Security, America ended up creating IRA's. Individual Retirement Accounts. These accounts were supposed to FIX the problem of depending on Social Security for retirement. They were originally supposed to be TAX FREE (sound familiar)? That of course didn't last long. There was so much money invested in these accounts, that the age of Mutual Funds was born. (those are the nasty little funds that are forever being ripped off by the people who have control of them-like Enron did). They were touted as the solution to the fear of Social Security going broke around now. I think It was Bush who ran around telling everyone that the sky was falling. Everyone is eerily silent about the subject of IRA's, wonder why? I do too! There are solutions to the problem of Healthcare that don't require the American worker to give up Social Security. What is needed is reform in the way Congress borrows and spends the funds given them by the American worker and employer. Social Security would be funded without any problem if Congress PUT BACK THE MONEY Bush spent in Iraq. One thing to realize about living in America is that if you can't use your talents and education to make a fair wage from the employers in America then you can't survive. America is a very expensive country to live in. You must remember that the Social Security program works, it the raiding of the cookie jar that is ruining it. Not to take anything away from our youth as far as their education, but the youth of today are the sick of tomorrow. Social Security is all they have that they can depend on if some catastrophic illness sweeps the land. They need to be shown the truth of the situation and not some Big Business advertising ploy like what is used on children to sell toys, hamburgers and whatever else they can use children to sell. That's like the Press poll, if you go after the young people that have no political experience and blow smoke up their patootee's, they will say anything they feel is popular. Deception seems to be Bush and Roves best attributes. Let's hope the youth of today don't have the impressionable mind of a child. Their very lives depend on it.....Thee..
