Guest guest
Dear DitziSis, In Nazi Europe the excuse for getting a National ID was supposedly to reduce the problems involved with the train transportation. And you are correct that the argument is not about seat belts. Why should some Americans have their time wasted so that their vehicles can be subjected to a visual search without probable cause because other Americans are too irresponsible and have so little respect for their own lives that they don't wear seat belts on their own initiative? But you are incorrect when you say it is illegal. Because THE PEOPLE have passively allowed their state legislators to pass this draconian law without protest so that their state Departments of Public Safety can be rewarded by the Federal government to condition the people to be willing to subject themselves for roadblocks supposedly because the government is concerned about our safety, now it is not only legal but you are paying state troopers time and a half to do it. If the U.S. Government is so concerned about our health, why does the FDA approve drugs like Accutane, Vioxx, and antidepressents that cause DEATH? And more importantly, when the FDA is aware that the drugs they have approved are genocidal that they never should have approved in the first place, why are investigators like Dr. David Graham harrassed and inimidated to be quiet and not make the public aware? Health care is one of the MAJOR issue in which the government not only doesn't take measures to protect the public health but takes measures to damage the public health. Look at pollution, radiation, chemtrails, aspertame, legal and illegal drugs, etc. You know the drill. The government has not protected our health and is now trying to keep us from protecting our own health with Codex Alimentarius. The decades long successful campaign against chiropractic is another example. Now why would anyone have any problem believing the opinion that the Click IT or Ticket seat belt law was not really primarily intended to be in the interests of public safety. I have personally sat in a Georgia Board of Public Safety meeting and listened to the dicussion that this law will provide more opportunities to bust illegal drug dealers. Now if an officer sees a parent that has irresponsibily failed to secure their child in a car seat, I would consider that child endangerment and deserving of more reprimand than a Click It or Ticket fine. But then again, from what i know about DHR and child seizure for reward from the Federal goverment I wouldn't take any active measures to get any law passed to strengthen the current click it or ticket laws. You may find it interesting that Georgia Speaker of the House Tom Murphy either did not agree with the law or pretended not to like the unpopular law while he was maknig sure it got passed so he got an amendment passed that you didn't have to wear a seat belt in a truck in Georgia since he drove a truck.
