Dear Maryann,

Have you researched the etiology (cause) of exema?

How do you know that the symptoms you are observing are exema?

Thank you,

Dr. Sandra Lance, D.C.

Maryann,

My son has severe Eczema, it's red flaky, itchy and inflamed. I have tried

various and sundry lotions and crèmes. Eczema, I have learned, is directly

related to a food allergy. Taking away the offending food will clear it up.

Often it's dairy that is the culprit, wheat is next, soy, and peanuts are

also some of the most common food allergens related to eczema.

That said I have been trying this new remedy consisting of Emu oil with a

few drops of Tea Tree oil mixed in and rubbing it on the affected areas, and

it seems to be working well, it's alleviating the redness, flakiness and the

itch.
