WOW - This is an incredible action network. Together, we have sent

over 20,000 letters to the FDA in just two short weeks! Consumers

from every state – every Congressional district in fact- are taking a

stand for their health rights.

 

To make sure the voice of the natural health consumer is heard, we set

a goal of sending 25,000 letters to the FDA – we are only 5,000 away

from this ambitious goal. Together, we can achieve this if each of

This is a vibrant and growing action network – together we can reach

our goals and preserve our health rights.

 

It took 2.5 million consumers contacting Congress in the early 1990s

to save access to dietary supplements by passing DSHEA (The Dietary

Supplement Health Education Act). This is our legislation. It is up

to us to closely track and monitor any changes and new interpretations

of this bill.

 

Right now, the FDA is reviewing the New Dietary Ingredient clause in

DSHEA and making new rules that may impact your health and access to

safe and innovative dietary supplements. We only have six more days

to submit comments on this issue. The docket closes February 1, 2005.

 

Please contact the FDA today! Urge them to ensure that any new FDA

guidelines for New Dietary Ingredients reflect the intent of Congress

and continue to provide complete access to the safe, affordable and

innovative dietary supplements you and millions of Americans rely on

for health.

 

Consumer support for health rights has preserved our ability to
