Does anyone know which psychiatric medications Andrea Yates was under the

influence of when she drowned her children, if it was the same drug that Susan

Smith was on when she drowned her two sons or when Chris Pittman shot his

grandparents and burned down the house at the age of 12?

 

 

Andrea Yates -- Double the maximum dose of Effexor, and Remeron. She had

recently been cold turkeyed off Haldol. Before that she was on other SSRIS --

Zoloft was one of them I think, as well as other antipsychotics, and we wonder

WHY she drowned her children?

 

Susan Smith was on Prozac.

 

Christopher Pittman had first been on Paxil then cold turkeyed off that and put

on Zoloft.
