Guest guest
The most positive woman with cancer I have ever known is at my church. She has outlived all her doctors expectations. Either way, do we need for some other authority to tell us that it's better to have a positive attitude than a negative attitude? - " Christina " <cbmd3 Friday, December 31, 2004 2:05 PM Re: Positive Thinking > > > > I read an article that said that positive thinking had no effect on cancer survival, because basically your cells don't know what you're thinking or feeling > > C > > > > " Life is not holding a good hand; Life is playing a poor hand well. Guest guest
Sandra and all, This is also true of my brother-in-law, diagnosed terminal in June and expected to live only a month or two. He had a great last Christmas and is seeing in 2005 at midnight tonight. I've called him 2-3 times a week for 6 months, and each and every time, without exception, when I've asked him how he is he says with enthusiasm -- " I'm fantastic " ! Every cell in your body responds to your thoughts and words.
