Re; CT scan for microscopic blood in urine

Hi,

 

I'm new here and I was hoping I could find some info

about the above.

 

I've had three urinalysises (sp) and all of them showed

microscopic blood in my urine.

 

The urologist I saw wants me to have a CT scan which I have

second thoughts about. I know an iodine dye would be used to

accent the areas in question which I'm not really thrilled

about.

 

I try to steer clear of doctors. I really don't want to

have a CT scan. The urologist informed me people can have

blood in their urine without having any problem.

 

Do any of you know anything about this? Any sharing of

knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm trying to explore all of my options including going

to the Hippocrates Health Institute in Palm Beach, Florida

as I'm just about a half hour south of them in Delray Beach.
