An emergency health freedom conference, hosted by

<http://www.tahoma-clinic.com>www.tahoma-clinic.com was held at the

ACAM (American College for Advancement in Medicine) conference in San

Diego on 19 November.

 

The invited speakers were: Robert Verkerk PhD (Alliance for Natural

Health,

<http://www.alliance-natural-health.org/>www.alliance-natural-health.org),

Suzanne Harris JD (The Law Loft,

<http://www.thelawloft.com/>www.thelawloft.com), John Hammell

(International Advocates for Health Freedom,

<http://www.iahf.com/>www.iahf.com) and Jim Turner JD (Citizens for

Health, <http://www.citizens.org/>www.citizens.org).

 

Representatives from other US health freedom organisations were also

present including the National Health Federation

(<http://www.thenhf.com/>www.thenhf.com) and the AAHF

(<http://www.apma.net>www.apma.net).

 

The invited papers focused on identifying key problems as well as

focusing on strategies intended to slow, halt or divert present EU

and US legislation which could seriously and negatively affect health

freedom. Suzanne Harris' paper focused specifically on recent

developments in Codex, which reveal the potential for major global

impacts on availability of effective food supplements.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting at ACAM, supported by, among

Research Group

(who sponsored the meeting), was a perceived need to establish a

global health freedom coalition which would include US organisations

involved with health freedom, as well as European organisations such

as the ANH.
