Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone knows what causes itchy/intensely burning butt? My doctor was treating me for a candida rash under my arms. He prescribed ketoconzole for 3 weeks. He said it isn't necessary to take any longer because its done its job in three weeks. But the rash under my arms is coming back and my butt has been intensely burning (even the medicine didn't clear that up.) My husband is now being treated the same way for the butt burning but he doesn't have a rash. Does this sound familiar to anyone? And the doctor said it was rare for a man to catch candida. Thanks, Suzanne.
Guest guest
Do yourself a favor and go to a natural food store and get the book " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Balch and Balch. It will cost you $20 and worth every cent. There are too many things to attempt to clear up your situation and to include it in this link. Start eating your organic yogurt and get the good bacteria going. The book suggests many different approaches to clear this condition. One thing I found interesting was possible high levels of mercury in the body. Again, get the book and stop spending your money on the zole's as they only create a bigger problem. One thing I would also suggest is to start drinking some organic apple cider vinegar (pick it up when you go to the natural health food store). Follow the directions on the bottle. Of course, dilute in some distilled water or apple juice. J
Guest guest
Ideas for Itchy Intense Burning Skin I would boil a rag in hot salt water (pour some sea salt or regular table salt into a few cups of water and boil), and then hold the cooled but hot salty rag against the inflamed area for a few minutes (keep rinsing and dipping in hot salty water). I might also add a pound or so of salt to my bath water or soak my rear end in a small sitz bath of salty hot water for several minutes. This will bring relief and aid healing if it is due to an infection of one kind or another. I would repeat the treatment every few hours for relief of symptoms. Also, I would blow dry the area with a hair dryer and change my clothes at least daily to keep the area clean and dry. I would experiment with zinc oxide, antibiotic ointment, fungicide creme, and hydrogen peroxide to see if one of them gave relief. For the hydrogen peroxide, I would dab it on the skin and then blow dry. After drying the area, I might use zinc Oxide or Vaseline to prevent chaffing. Sometimes the rash starts out as a yeast infection and becomes infected with bacteria or vice versa. It could even be the tail end of some kind of viral infection. It could very well be more than one thing at this point. Also, I would be sure to thoroughly clean my tub and to disinfect and dry my towels with bleach. I would definitely discontinue any newly tried shampoo, hair conditioner, skin crème, dish soap, bar soap, fabric softeners, detergent just to rule out the most likely sources of possible allergy. It’s amazing the reaction seemingly mild products can have. If I had general symptoms of Candida overgrowth, I might also want to pursue my own treatment program at home. Hydrogen peroxide therapy is one approach. This is described in the book Healthy Healing by Linda Rector Page, N.D., Ph.D. “How to Use H2O2 orally.” http://www.healthyhealing.com/ Husband and wife would need to treat Candida at the same time. Many doctors discount this problem as well as the transmission between husband and wife and they do not know how to adequately treat the problem.(See books by Dr. William Crook http://yeastconnection.com/ftb_dr_crook.html and also Dr. Crooks Candida Yeast Test at http://www.candidasupport.org/dr.williamcrookt.html ) It seems most skin problems end up by being cured by the Great Healer: Time Re: I was wondering if anyone knows what causes itchy/intensely burning butt? Guest guest
Additional comments re: Symptoms and help for an itchy rash--possibly yeast I think my last post on suggestions for an itchy rash was probably the closest this group will come to a pornographic posting. I was trying to speak for myself and what I might do if confronted with that problem and I’m thinking , hum… I forgot to add that sometimes yeast could be spread from one person's clothes to the others in the wash if the dryer does not get hot enough. (Such as with the small apartment sized dryers.) This can especially be a problem if someone has a sweaty job. You and your husband might want to wash your clothes separately or go to a Laundromat where the dryers tend to be much hotter. When I said to sanitize the bathtub and towels with bleach, I did not mean to say " dry them with bleach. " I meant to say disinfect the towels with bleach and then thoroughly dry them. Also, it's good to boil your underwear. Yeast can be a real weed. Happy Holidays! The all-new My - Get yours free!
