Guest guest
At this point we are still awaiting the Ohio verdict but it is more than likely that Bush will remain president. I know some of you voted for Bush; I just wanted to say I'm sorry to the people who voted for Kerry. I know you must be disappointed. I know some of you even worked on the campaign. I just don't get it. Bush is an aggressive, ineffectual stuttermonkey. I view him like I view an autoimmune disease, wiping out the tissues of the body to get at tiny microbes or viruses. With the proper intelligence put into action I believe the terrorists could have been dealt with much better. He says he values human life and now 1100 soldiers are dead. Then, stands and cracks jokes. His daughters are rich. They don't need to be forced into the army because of financial necessity. And N U C U L A R is not a word. To stand up there continually saying this shows an irreverent stubbornness, and an outright incorrigibility I can't stand (at this point I'm sure someone told him it isn't a word). A NUCULA is a genus of small marine bivalve shells with a pearly interior. I'm not afraid of those types of bombs being dropped on me, bivalve shell missiles. He disgusts me. I feel many republicans are nonthinkers, or black and white thinkers. Gunhuggers, excess testosterone, war hungry? You can't go forward thinking everything is one way always. And when you actually THINK you get called a waffler. I am ashamed of this huge part of America, the steak eating, arrogant, aggressive America the other countries see. So now, what will change? Kerry wanted to clean up in Iraq. He even wanted to send more men and women because they are like sitting ducks there. The budget deficit is disgusting. How many troups died the day George Bush stood up and said that this day marked the end of active military action in Iraq. What? Yes, Kerry probably wanted to be president as a young man, talked about it, planned for it, but Kerry actually put his life on the line during vietnam. He didn't have to. Where was Bush?....Jobs will continue to be sent overseas...yada yada yada... sigh...If by some chance Kerry becomes president tomorrow, please disregard only the very first sentences of this rant. Take care, and regardless, have a nice day! Kel
Guest guest
Hello, the war on terrorism is used to have a justification for cruel imperialistic activity like the war in Afgahnistan and Irak. I read more than 80000 citizens which are blamed to the invaders died in the war in Irak That are results of the despotic policy of the United States today which is carefully hidden behind many lies of a huge propagandamachinerie. A human future goes possibly only against the USA and possibly only with violence. Guest guest
Most Americans do not vote with their pocketbooks, as in other developed nations, but with their prayer books, as do the Muslims and other fundamentalist countries. A sad statement on the " democracy " that we are striving to force down others' throats at gunpoint.
Guest guest
Kelly, You said you 'just don't get it'. One thing is that the statistic I have seen several times is that 40%, yes 40%, of Americans believe in the biblical notion of prophesy, as in - Armegeddon, John Ashcroft, rising up without your wristwatch- I think that says a lot about why Bush got elected. Truly scary. ellen In , Kelly Wortkoetter <kellykebby> wrote: > > At this point we are still awaiting the Ohio verdict but it is more than likely that Bush will remain president.
