Afternoon all,

I posted this message on another group's board I belong to but I also

wanted to share with this group. I wanted to share what my husband,

Clay, has gone through this summer in hopes that it could help

someone else.

Clay developed a pain in his mid-chest area in early May. It was a

sharp stabbing pain that occurred once or twice a week, he didn't

think anything about it, so being male he just ignored it. In June,

he went to our Primary Care Physician (PCP) because of a pain in his

left shoulder that had been there for 5-6 weeks and had not gotten

any better and swelling in this feet and ankles. While there Clay

happened to mention the chest pain that by this time was occurring 4-

5x a week. As any great PCP would have done the doc took the heart

route, thus starting all the visits with two different Cardiologists,

EKG's, chest x-rays, c.t. scan of his chest, thallium, stress

test, &

MRI's. They found nothing. Everything was perfect, textbook

perfect

and all the time the pain is getting worse. You would have to know

Clay; he rides his mountain bike 5x a week for an hour a day, never

misses a day (he had pneumonia and never missed a day) of work,

loves to keep his yard mowed, and his kids are his life. By the

first of Sept.1, he was coming home from work going to bed for a

couple of hours getting up eating dinner, playing w/the girls from a

chair or laying on the floor, then going back to bed for the night

and the pain was continuous 24/7. After ruling out his heart, the

PCP referred him to a GI doc, who scheduled an EGD. That procedure

was scheduled on 10-4-04 Monday, the EGD and biopsy came back

normal. That Saturday evening we were at this parent's house and

the

pain became so excruciating that his breathing was being affected.

He said that when he exhaled his lungs felt as if that were

" sticking

together " and wouldn't feel back up w/air. After about 3

½ hrs of

this he agreed to go to the ER. I forgot to mention that the pain

that he had in his chest also radiated over the left peck, or right

under the left peck. After being in the ER a couple of hours and the

entire tests redone (x-ray's, EKG's, blood work, etc,) the

heart was

again ruled out. After they also gave him some sort of cocktail that

would numb his up GI track, all that area was also ruled out. HE

STILL HAD THE PAIN that he went to the ER with. So they gave him

Lortab and released him. He came home and chased bad guys in our

house all night long, so it was safe to say that he didn't take

that

anymore, which was fine because it didn't take the pain away. By

Monday he wasn't talking or communicating any more the pain was

so

intense. They admitted him to the hospital on 10-13-04 for

intractable abdominal pain. While in the hospital he had two rounds

of Demerol, it didn't take the pain away, and again another host

of

test …CT abdomen, pelvis, blood workup, and US of his

gallbladder.

Found nothing, everything perfect. The doctor sat in Clay's room

with me and his mom and said that he did not know at this point what

to do that the only thing left was to be referred to a lung

specialist. Clay has had several cases of pneumonia and Clay's

grandma died of Wegner's granulomatosis, so with that and bag

full of

Ultracet we left the hospital. He was discharged 10-14-04 with no

change in his condition. That was Thursday night, all this time I

have been asking him to visit my doctor in Norman. Dr. Xiaohai Li is

a NCCA Acupuncturist & Herbologist. I had researched different

Chinese Herbologist and found Dr. Li in hopes of him helping by

autoimmune problem, another story. He has done wonders for me so I

tried to push Clay to see him, but being raised in a prescription

drug only family he considered my doc. A " witch " doctor, but

by this

point he sat in the living room and said he that he could die and be

fine with that because the pain would be gone. Friday, I received

appt. information for the lung doc but the appt wouldn't be until

10-

29-04 I didn't know how Clay would be able to continue going. He

came home from work early that Friday very ill and I offered one more

time to go and see the " witch " doctor and he agreed!! I was

on the

phone immediately; I had an appt. the next morning Saturday 10-16-04

and went straight to the hospital to pick up all his records (quite a

bundle have them right here in my lap). My dad went w/us to the doc

the next morning, Dr. Li reviewed all of the records,labs,x-

rays, etc. that I had brought w/us, did an allergy test on him, and

looked Clay straight in the eyes and told him that he is allergic to

formaldehyde and the pain he is experiencing is a spasm in his

diaphragm. Dr. Li said that most folks have the common allergy

symptoms, runny nose, itchy eyes, headaches and quite of people even

have joint pain what western docs refer to as rheumatoid but

Clay's

was unusually being that his was in this diaphragm. Dr. Li then told

Clay that he was going to give him some pain relief before the left.

I know next to nothing about how acupuncture works but when the doc

finished with Clay, he left the building with zero pain, first time

in 6weeks and you don't know how bad Clay wanted to be able to

look

at me and say I told you so, he's a fake. As of today, Clay is

still

pain free and on zero prescription medication, he is on 3 different

herb mixes and he is to take them for two weeks and then if he still

is pain free then he can quite those. I don't know if you have

ever heard about N.A.E.T. Nammbudripad's Allergy Elimination

Techniques but I'm telling you if you or anyone you know have

ANYKIND

of allergy's its worth looking into. If you remember I mentioned

that he was severely allergic to formaldehyde, after the allergy

elimination treatment, formaldehyde is no longer a problem and will

stay that way for the rest of his life. This doesn't treat the

symptom's it fixes the problem. I am now one happy wife, I

have my

hubby back and yes he has mowed the lawn and is going riding today

with the girls….

Great Story Tamara!

Congratulations on finding the allergen that was causing your husband's

woes.

I Love my " witch " doctor too. she is a naturopath who does several techniques

like this including NAET. I have used TBM to clear allergies and also NMT

Neuromodulation Technique.

Its simple to find the culprit allergens and to clear the body of the problem.

completely miraculous in my opinion. I would recommend it to anyone and

everyone who is ill and having a hard time finding the real reason for the

problem!!!

question for you....did...does...your husband drink diet sodas??

where is the exposure to formaldehyde coming from??

are you aware of the issues with aspartame??

just food for thought!!

THANKS for the great info on this fairly new treatment that works so

wonderfully well!!

peace

beverly
