Protect our Last Wild Forests http://www.saveourenvironment.org/action/index.asp?step=2 & item=12465 The comment period ends November 15, 2004. There is less than one month left to speak out in support of protecting our beautiful, pristine national forests from destructive road-building, logging and drilling. We need your help to make sure the Bush administration does not repeal the excellent Roadless Rule that keeps our forests safe - please submit your comments now before it's too late! On July 12, 2004 the Bush administration proposed a repeal of the Roadless Area Conservation Rule, despite having promised to uphold it. As soon as the administration's plan takes effect, 58.5 million acres of our national forests will be at risk of permanent destruction by road-building, logging and drilling. We need your help to let the administration know that the public wants to keep our national forests protected from corporate special interests. The Bush administration needs to hear from you -click here to send your comments to Forest Service Chief Bosworth now! Your comments really do make a difference. You can help stop this senseless destruction of our national forests, but you have to act now! The comment period ends November 15, 2004. We've set an ambitious goal of sending more than 1 million comments in order to send a clear, powerful message that we will not tolerate the destruction of our national forests. To help us reach this goal, please forward this message to your friends as soon as you've submitted your comments. Thanks for your help!
