Guest guest
OCTOBER 18, 2004. AP is running a story today on those long lines of hysterical seniors waiting for their flu shots all over the US. Here are two key paragraphs: Thompson [Tommy Thompson, head of Health and Human Services] said the flu vaccine supply will be reallocated to parts of the country where it is needed most. Most at risk for severe complications from the flu are seniors and young children. " We are looking all over the regions to find out where there is a shortage, and we will redeploy the resources to make sure the seniors get the vaccine first, " he said. He noted that 91 percent of flu deaths last year were people 65 or older. Boom. Put this together with recent revelations (see my archive) that true CDC figures on annual flu deaths in the US are much, much lower than advertised: 1999: 1665 deaths. 2000: 1765 deaths. 2001: 257 deaths. 2002: 753 deaths. Figures not available yet for 2003. Let’s say that in 2003, admitted to be a light flu year when all was said and done, 1000 people died of the flu. That would mean 900 of those deaths occurred in people 65 or over. The elderly, of course, have years of being drugged to the gills with medical treatments that are toxic. Toxicity=weakened immune system. So that would mean only a hundred people under 65 died of the flu last year. Call it 200. For THIS there is complete hysteria over getting a flu shot?
