Guest guest
Year In Review Have you ever noticed how certain events seem to take place on a yearly basis, serving as an opportunity to review one’s progress over the past year? When I looked back over the past year and evaluated where I am today, I realized that my health has noticeably improved—thanks to the information I have learned at Alternative Medicine Forum and another , Searching Alternatives. The improvements primarily involve a better digestive system, healthier younger looking skin and fewer symptoms of toxins when I do a cleanse. So just as an example, I thought I would list the changes here. The changes have been subtle and gradual, but it is amazing what can be accomplished over the course of time with minor lifestyle adjustments. I’m curious what you have changed in your diet and life to improve your health. 1. elimination of almost all soda pop 2. elimination of almost all Nutrasweet products 3. elimination of almost all artificial hydrogenated fats 4. elimination of almost all refined sugar 5. elimination of almost all meat except sea foods 6. increase in sardines instead of tuna 7. increase in colorful fresh foods such as green leafy vegetables and unsweetened grape juice 8. increase in antioxidants- Vitamins C, A, E, Selenium, Zinc 9. increase in Magnesium 10. increase in cayenne pepper capsules 11. increase in raw garlic 12. increase in bitters in general and teas with dandelion or red clover (bitters) 13. increase in filtered/boiled water 14. increase in probiotics and yogurt 15. use of Celtic Salt instead of table salt 16. increase in quality oils such as soy lecithin, flax seed oil 17. increase in cod liver oil (in winter) 18. going off wheat for periods of time 19. cutting back on coffee 20. cutting back on the car 21. elimination of almost all cooking with a microwave
