JoAnn. I have decided to taper off all my meds and use just natural treatment to

treat my bipolar. I have currently reduced my topamax to 100mg a day and stopped

my Wilburton. I still have to stop the topamax and risperdal I have cut the

risperdal in half. Here is what I'm currently taking to treat my bipolar that is

natural. 6,000mg of omega3 fish oil, b complex, e. I can't start st. johns wort

till I come off all my meds cause it don't mix well with anti psys. So my

question is what else can I take to help to keep things under control here or

even increase. If there is something else to take please let me know asap.

Thanks a heap.

Dear Poneyboy,

I know you didn't ask for my advice on this topic, but I am butting in

anyway because I have had experience in treating bipolar disorder without

psychotropic drugs and have found something that works. It is Empower Plus,

a vitamin and mineral supplement, that you can find at the website Truehope.

A close relative of mine started taking this supplement after suffering for

years on antidepressants, mood stabilizers, and antipsychotics. She now has

her life back but it took her six months to get off her medications with the

help of a counsellor.

Please go to the Truehope website. They are good people who really do offer

hope for people with bipolar disorder.

Best wishes,

Anna
